Objectives & Functions of BMA Committees
Advisory Board
  This committee will play an advisory role for directing the Executive Committee in overall interest of BMA.
  Strategy formulation (The strategy of the Association for a three year ensuing period).
  Enhancement of the image of the Association.
  Judicious use of the funds of the Association.
  Training activities and the programmes so as to ensure new direction in the activities of the Association and in particular introduction of medium to long term management education.
The Advisory Board shall have advisory role and shall not possess executive powers.

Awards Committee
  To select the winners of the various Awards of BMA.
  To Constitute the Panel of Juries (6 / 7).
– Leaders from Trade/Industry/Government, etc
  To discuss and debate the potential names of the Awardees as per the Criteria laid down by BMA.
  To decide on any new Award - to be instituted on BMA's recommendation.
  To finalise the Awardees - through frank and free discussion and debate based on criteria defined by BMA.
  To convey the Awardees about their selection and invite them to collect the Awards through a letter by the Chairman of the Juries.
  The Committee may feel free to suggest the improvements and alterations in the Awards Criteria.

Executive Committee
  To control overall objectives of the Association.
  To direct Chairpersons of various committees and the administration on the objectives of the Association.
  To be responsible for the general membership of BMA.
  To make rules & regulations for the annual election of its members.
  To invite and / or receive any voluntary contribution, gifts or grants of money or property from any source in India or abroad, any trusts or endowments, any company from or individual either by way of donations, endowments, capital grants, annual or other subscriptions, legacies etc. for the purpose or benefits of the objects of the Association or any of them or for any specific trust for charitable purposes and to hold all such grants in accordance with the terms, objects and purposes thereof.
  To adopt such means of making known the activities if the association as may seem expedient and in particular by advertising in press, by circulars, by publications of books and periodicals, by granting prizes, rewards and donations.
  To enter into any agreements on behalf of the Association.
  To undertake and execute any Trust which may seem to the Association desirable.

F & A Committee
  To be accountable for Income and Expenditure of the Association.
  To advice the Executive Director in administration.
  Procurement of office equipment.
  Make Investment decisions.
  To enter into any agreement on behalf of the Association.

Other Committees
BMA – AIMA Relations Committee
  Improve the interactions between AIMA and BMA.
  Co-ordinate the joint programmes of AIMA and BMA.
 
BMA Review Committee
  To publish the BMA Review bi-monthly.
  To maintain and improve the popularity of the publication among members and non-members.
  To introduce innovative topics and articles form the industry.
  To increase the advertisements for the publication.
  To do these activities within sanctioned budget.
 
Corporate Governance Committee
  To improve quality of communication of the corporate world, Management Mantra of the Millennium, Intelligent Enterprise, and, Ethics in Business.
 
Library Committee
  To increase the membership of the library.
  To acquire latest Management Books, Journals & Periodicals.
  To maintain and improve the popularity of BMA Library among members and non - members.
  To ensure that all the members are serviced as per the prescribed fees.
  To do these activities within sanctioned budget.
 
Linkages Committee
  To promote Linkages with Management Institutes and Various Industry.
  Associations and Professional Bodies.
  To conduct programmes with active participation of such linked bodies.
  To promote interaction within the community of Management Institutes and conduct developmental and competitive programme promoting interaction within themselves and BMA.
  To organise activities related to N. Dandekar Trophy in consultation with the winner of the year 2001.
  To collect the list of full time and visiting faculty of Management Institutes and to motivate them to join as members of BMA.
  To motivate the full time MMS & BMS students to join BMA as student members.
  To motivate the three year part time students doing their MMM, MFM, MHRDM, and also those doing DMS and DCM to join as members of the BMA.
  To do these activities within sanctioned budget.
 
Management Week Committee
  To plan an outstanding programmes during the Management Week.
  To glorify the mission of BMA in the most appropriate way.
  To make BMA known amongst the corporate world.
  To do the activities in the sanctioned budget.
