The BMA Functions like any democratic and autonomous institution. We are governed by our constitution. We have an electoral system, which provides for a President assisted by Executive Committee, all elected from our membership. |

Since members so elected render voluntary services, to make for thoroughly professional body, we have a full-fledged office with permanent staff who executes the directives of the committee. |

As our activities have grown, the work of the Executive Committee has been further divided by the formation of several other committees. |

BMA celebrates “Management Week” every year and the week includes Management Day (21st February) and the Dandekar Memorial Trophy was instituted by Bombay Management Association in memory of its founder President Mr. N. Dandeker. Every year the Institutes offering two years full time MMS programme of the University of Mumbai and / or PGDBM programme approved by AICTE are eligible to participate in this Competition based on a relevant topic. BMA has also instituted several awards to recognize individuals and organisations distinguishing themselves in several areas of management. |

The present membership of BMA is 360 Individual Members, 167 Institutional Members (Corporate), 19 Institutional Academic Members , 104 Students Members and 1259 Life Members totaling 2537 Representatives. These represent a select band of people and Companies / Organisations. |
